Mathematics and Romanian artworks

Romanian students are preparing with interest for the transnational mobility which will be take place in Rethymno Greece carrying out learning activities on the golden number. Thus they managed to discover the golden ratio in the works of the great Romanian sculptor Constantin Brancuși. Works such as the Infinite Column and the Kiss Gate will be analyzed together with their partners.

Announcement of the mobility in barsov in the largest Greek School Network (ΠΣΔ)

The Greek School Network connects and supports: 14,204 schools, 132 educational units, 1,101 other units (eg libraries ) and the entire educational and learning community (274,333 accounts).

In that network it is posted the mobility of the students and teachers in Brasov (3-6 December 2019)

Students in Greece have been  working on the second section of  the projext "art and math". They have investigated the mathematical term of golden section in artworks. The results of their inevstigation have been uploaded on the twinspace

The symmetry in childhood

Last month our students began to prepare the second mobility.

One of the topics is the symmetry. In this respect, they remembered the years of the childhood and they created Christmas ornaments using symmetry.
